Otelvya

Channel manager

One calendar for all your channels

Availability, prices and restrictions are entered once in Otelvya, then sent to connected channels. Each connection shows its real status: active, pending or in error.

Calendar & rates

Your sales grid, night by night

For each room type, the grid shows the allotment, rooms sold and the price of each rate plan. A saved change goes to active connections, with a channel-by-channel report.

  • 14- or 30-day view, edit directly in the cell
  • Minimum stay, closed to arrival (CTA) or departure (CTD), stop sell
  • Bulk updates by period and by day of the week
  • Derived plans calculated from a parent plan
  • Without an active connection, the change stays in Otelvya and the message says so

Three kinds of connection

Each channel tells you how it is connected

  • Direct connectors

Booking.com, Expedia Group and Google Hotel Center: connectors built and currently in certification with each partner. Nothing is actually sent before that certification.

  • iCal calendars

Airbnb, Vrbo, Tripadvisor Rentals, and Booking.com as a complement: usable right away, with no certification. Unavailable nights are exchanged both ways.

  • Partner APIs

GDS, wholesalers, metasearch engines and other OTAs: on request, once the partner agrees. Until the connection is approved, nothing is transmitted.

Available
Usable as soon as the property switches it on.
In certification
Connector built; nothing is sent live before the partner certifies it.
On request
Enabled after the vendor's agreement and certification; nothing is sent before.

Where certification stands

  • Booking.com, Expedia Group, Google Hotel Center: the connectors are written and tested on local test benches. They remain in certification: until the partner grants it, no request goes to production and the connection stays “Pending certification”.
  • iCal (Airbnb, Vrbo, Tripadvisor Rentals, Booking.com as a complement): available immediately. An iCal feed blocks nights; it does not create a booking or transmit prices.
  • Other channels: on request, after the partner's agreement and approval.
  • Test booking: labelled SIMULATION, it is used to check room mapping and train staff.

Getting started

Connecting a channel

  1. Step 1

    Pick the channel

Search the catalogue by name, category or region, then “Connect”.

  2. Step 2

    Configure

Channel credentials, encrypted and never shown again; commission and price markup if needed.

  3. Step 3

    Map

Each room type and rate plan gets the code defined on the channel.

  4. Step 4

    Test and monitor

The test gives the real status; the sync log keeps every exchange, successful or not.

FAQ

Your questions

When can I send my prices to Booking.com or Expedia?

As soon as the partner has certified the connection. Until then, no data is sent and the screen says so. For Booking.com, iCal exchange is possible right now.

Does a booking received via iCal create a record?

No. The iCal feed blocks the nights of the chosen room type, without creating a booking or transmitting prices.

Can I sell at a higher price on one channel?

Yes: each connection has its own markup on prices sent, as a percentage, alongside its commission.

How do I know what was actually sent?

Each connection's sync log lists tests, sends and imports, successful or not, with the channel's technical response.
